DigiLocker Sign Up – Steps to Create New Digital Locker Account

This DigiLocker service is operated by the Indian government. In this Digi Locker you can store your certificates and official documents as safe. You want to register for Digi Locker then your Aadhar number is compulsory.  You can also sign up without Aadhar number, but to get best from of the Digital Locker then you need aadhar number. The storage space of DigiLocker is 1GB. And in DigiLocker e-sign facility is also provided.

1. The people who have their own aadhar number they can register for Digital Locker
2. For complete registration, your present mobile number which is registered with your Aadhar number is required
3. You can also update your present mobile number with your aadhar number by visiting UIDAI center

Register for DigiLocker account

• In order to register for Digital Locker the individuals need to visit the digi locker website https://digilocker.gov.in/

• Click on the “Sign Up” option which is present at the top right side of the page
• Enter your mobile number and click on “Continue” button
• After that, an OTP will get to your entered mobile number. Then submit the OTP which you get and click on “Verify” option
• Next set your convenient User name and password and click on “SignUp” button
• Your Digi Locker account will create successfully, but you need to get better from Digital Locker then enter your 12 digit aadhar number
• There will be the two options for the next steps: By using finger print and by Using OTP
• If you select Use OTP option then you can get an OTP to your mobile number which is linked to your Aadhar number
• By using Fingerprint:
• click on the Fingerprint button and sing up by using the fingerprint registered with your Aadahar instead of your mobile number
• Aadhar card can be approved after scanning your fingerprint
• This fingerprint option is useful when your aaadhar mobile number is not available
• Fingerprint will capture from the fingerprint scanner when you placed your figure on the device

Sign-in into Digital Locker account:

• Go to the official website https://digilocker.gov.in/ and click on the Sign in button
• Then you can log in to Digital Locker account in 3 possible options
• You can sign in to your Digital Locker account with your username and password and click on Sign in button
• Or Enter your aadhar number and select the option which you want from Use OTP and Use finger print
• Next, you can also signup Digi Locker account by using the google account or facebook also a password. If you can select the Social media (option 3)
